Is it safe to visit during Phalgun Mela with children?
Yes, families with children visit every year, but extra care is needed. Keep children very close in the crowd. Agree on a meeting point in case of separation. Wear bright or matching colours as a family. Consider arriving a day before Ekadashi when crowds are slightly smaller. Medical posts are set up near the temple during the mela.
Are special buses available during Phalgun Mela?
