Best Time to Arrive at the Temple

For your first visit, aim to arrive before 8:00 AM. The morning hours after Mangla Aarti (5:30 AM) are the calmest and most spiritually serene. Crowds build significantly from mid-morning onwards, especially on weekends, Ekadashi and festival days.

Avoid visiting on Ekadashi, Purnima and Phalgun Mela days unless you are prepared for very large crowds and long queues. These are auspicious but extremely busy days.

Darshan Timings at Khatu Shyam Temple

The temple follows a structured daily schedule with five major aartis. The gates open at 5:30 AM for Mangla Aarti and close after Shayan Aarti around 9:00–9:30 PM. There is a midday closure between Bhog Aarti (approximately 12:30 PM) and early afternoon — timings vary slightly between summer and winter. Always verify locally on the day of your visit.
